Appearance is important to the success of content marketing for dentists. Writing and publishing quality content can take time, but knowing a successful blog post's anatomy can make the process much simpler.

5 Tips for Writing & Publishing the Perfect Dental Blogs

Below are a few tips to keep in mind when writing blogs for your dental website:

  1. Images – Each blog post should include a relevant image or video so that readers aren't bored or overwhelmed by text.
  2. Sub-Headings – Break up the content by using subheadings. Depending on the text's length, we suggest between 1-3 subheadings, which will help with readability.
  3. Short Paragraphs – Traditional writing rules don't need to apply to blog posts. Shorter sentences and paragraphs are easier to read and draw attention to the more critical points.
  4. Lists – Most readers will only be scanning blog posts instead of reading each word. So, if your blog can be formatted into a bulleted list, that's even better!
  5. Call to Action – Lastly, the end of your post should include a call to action for your readers. For example, have an ending like "if this topic is something that applies to you, please schedule an appointment at our office."
