This webinar is designed for dentists preparing to purchase a practice or expand through acquisition. Participants will gain the tools to assess their readiness, understand today’s market landscape and identify the right opportunities. Attendees will walk through every step of the buying journey, from financial preparation and due diligence to structuring the deal and planning a smooth transition.

Objectives

• Assess personal and financial readiness for practice ownership, including clinical scope, credit, budget and advisory team setup.
• Analyze market factors such as demographics, payer mix, referral networks and competition to determine ideal locations.
• Evaluate practice profiles, financials, and operational systems to identify strengths, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct thorough due diligence across financial, clinical, operational and legal areas.
• Understand how practice value is determined and identify red flags that may impact valuation.
• Compare deal structures, including conventional purchases and associate buy-ins/buy-outs and understand timelines.
• Develop a transition plan covering staff communication, patient retention, credentialing and operational handoff.

She is the former President of the National Association of Practice Brokers, a member of the Dental Practice Valuation Study Club and a member of the International Business Brokers Association.
