Larry Chatterley

Larry M. Chatterley
(Retired)

Larry who has been consulting dental and medical professionals for over 26 years, founded CTC Associates in 1988. Since that time, Mr. Chatterley has specialized in transitioning dental practices and serving the business and transition needs of dentists throughout the West. Randon J. Jensen joined him in 1999 and they have since expanded their services to serve many of the western United States including Colorado, Utah, Texas, Idaho, Wyoming, Arizona, Nevada, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii. In addition, they frequently consult practice buyers nationwide. As a result of their expertise, Mr. Chatterley and Mr. Jensen are frequently invited to lecture to professional clubs and associations on the topics of practice transitions, practice management, empowered leadership, and practice promotion. Consequently, they are the authors of several publications on practice transitions.

Mr. Chatterley graduated from Southern Utah State College with high honors. Prior to entering the transition business, he owned and operated an investment banking firm for 7 years in Denver, Colorado. Larry currently resides in Aurora, Colorado with his wife, Sarah. They have seven children and 18 grandchildren.

Randon Jensen

Randon Jensen

Randon, a native of Preston, Idaho, currently resides in Bountiful, Utah with his wife, Cami, and their five children. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Prior to joining CTC Associates in 1999, Mr. Jensen worked in mid-level management for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

In addition to authoring and co-authoring scores of articles and other publications on the topics of practice transitions, dental partnerships, associateships, mergers, marketing, and practice management, Mr. Jensen has had the privilege and opportunity to lecture to a number of professional groups on those same topics, including groups such as the National Association of Practice Brokers, the Practice Valuation Study Group, the Utah Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, the Metro Denver Dental Society, the Provo District Dental Society, the Roseman University School of Dentistry, and the University of Utah School of Dentistry, as well as several local and regional study clubs.

Mr. Jensen is privileged to have worked with so many excellent dentists and other professionals over the years and is grateful for the one-on-one, personalized service he is able to provide his clients and customers. It is a privilege for him to work in such a great industry with great people.

Marie has been assisting doctors of all specialties in the dental industry since 2003. Her expertise is in practice transitions including; practice start-ups, practice sales, partnerships, associateships, team building, marketing, and practice management.  Mrs. Chatterley is the former President of the National Association of Practice Brokers and a member of the International Business Brokers Association.

Mrs. Chatterley conducts workshops and training in practice transitions, mediation, negotiation, conflict resolution, transition strategies, demographics, marketing, practice management, and effective communication. She has been a keynote speaker for PVSG conferences (Practice Valuation Study Group), NABP conferences (National Association of Practice Brokers), the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention, New Mexico Dental Associations annual meetings, Hawaiian Women’s Dental Society, MDDS New Dentist Committee, in addition to local study clubs.

Mrs. Chatterley has published over 40 articles in Dental Economics, MDDS Articulator Magazine, New Mexico Dental Association Journal, additionally providing content for national blogs, podcasts, and trade publications on transitions.

Mrs. Chatterley has enjoyed being involved with nonprofits such as KIND (Kids in Need of Dentistry), Global Dental Relief, and Project Aspire. She currently has the only dental front office training course approved by the State Board of Education.  She has an undergraduate degree from BYU in Business P.R. and Marketing.

Mrs. Chatterley and her husband are outdoor enthusiasts. They enjoy traveling, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, canyoneering, wake-boarding, river rafting, snowshoeing, and backpacking. Additionally, Mrs. Chatterley is a former competitive ballroom dancer and loves the performing arts. Mrs. Chatterley and her husband are blessed to have two children and love spending time with their large extended families.
