Interior OfficeIf you’re looking for a New Year’s resolution for your dental office, you might want to consider giving the place a little makeover! The waiting room in your dental practice provides your new patients with a first impression of your entire office. The new year is a great opportunity to make any changes to improve your dental office.

Simple Office Makeover Ideas

There are plenty of ways to make the most of your waiting room space without breaking the bank. Below are just a few simple ways to make your dental practice feel more inviting:

  • Background Music – Music playing in the waiting room has been shown to help ease the anxiety of your patients. We suggest playing mellow instrumental music, which can also have the positive effect of drowning out the sounds of the drill. Additionally, when employees listen to music, it’s been shown to increase productivity! Win/win!
  • Live Plants – Plants can help make a waiting room feel more comforting and inviting. While fake plants can seem cheap or insincere, live plants can generate feelings of well-being and vitality. Make sure you choose plants that do well indoors and that are taken care of regularly.
  • Extra Amenities – Certain small touches around the office can make your patients feel valued. For example, we suggest adding tissues, reading materials, a coat rack, hand sanitizer, or even a drink station. These types of things can make your patients feel like you care about their comfort.

Here at CTC Associates, we know how important a first impression is for your patients.
