How to Use Your Dental Blog to Market Your Practice

Content MarketingWhen you think of social media, your mind may go automatically to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, but adding a blog page to your dental website can be a great form of social media. Your dental blog can provide a way for you to share information with your patients as well as interact with them and allow them to share your content with their families and friends.

Using Your Dental Blogs as a Marketing Tool

Below are a few tips on how you can use your dental blog to market your practice:

  • Provide an Introduction – Use your blogs to let your patients get to know you and your staff a little better. This will help foster relationships with your patients and boost their trust in you. This is also a great way to give your blog an identity and a voice.
  • Educate Patients – Your blog can be a great way for you to educate your patients about their dental health. This drives patients to your website, which will lead them right to your door. Allow your blog to open up a discussion about dental health and let your readers know that you’re open to questions and comments.
  • Keep it Light & Simple – Lastly, an important thing to remember when blogging is to keep it simple and light. The most successful blogs are updated around twice a month. This allows your patients to anticipate new content without feeling overwhelmed with posts.

When thinking of ways to market your dental practice, make sure you include a blog page on your dental website. If done correctly, a blog page can help form stronger bonds with current patients as well as bring in new ones.
